Kimberley TAFE provides quality vocational education and training throughout the Kimberley region, with campuses in Kununurra, Wyndham, Halls Creek, Derby and Broome, plus an access centre in Fitzroy Crossing. The College also has a purpose-built aquaculture centre in Broome.
In Order to meet the unique education and training needs of the region, Kimberley TAFE delivers courses in a range of industry areas including mining, pastrol, hospitality, tourism, aquaculture, horticulture, music and art. The College also supports businesses by delivering training to apprentices and trainees.
In addition, Kimberley TAFE works in close consultation with communities to identify, develop and implement quality training that has a genuine impact on the social, economic, and environmental wellbeing of the region.

This centre is run as a non-profit organisation and managed on behalf of the Shire by a Co-ordinator, Betty McKinlay.
The Centre is a fully licensed Child Care Centre with qualified staff who plan a variety of activities. It is open from Monday to Friday 7.30am- 4:30pm.
The Wyndham Child Care Centre was opened on the 16th November 1984, to cater for the needs of working families in Wyndham. The Centre is sponsored by the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley, who are also owners of the building and land.
Philosophy
The Wyndham child Care Centre agrees to provide every child with the right to a safe, happy, stimulating and loving environment. The provision of quality care for children is a right that all families should have equitable access to. We respect the culture, religious and socio-economic diversity of the Community.
The Centre aims to offer a family environment reflecting this diversity therefore enabling ebery child, parent, staff member and visitor to feel comfortable and welcome.

Child Care Benefit
All families who meet the Australian residency requirments are eligible for Child Care Benefit CCB. You can apply for this payment, which will reduce your childcare fees or entitle you to a lump sum payment at the end of the financial year. Wyndham Swimming Pool

The Wyndham Swimming Pool has a fully shaded six lane 25 metre pool and two shaded toddlers pools.
It is situated in the centre of the town amidst a broad expanse of lawn with shaded areas making it a welcome retreat during the hotter months.
The pool facilities are available for hire for social functions.
Wyndham Recreation Centre
Wyndham Recreation Centre has a sports court, a single full-size multi-use sport court marked for use by basketball, netball, tennis, volleyball and badminton;

The Recreation Centre is located adjacent to the Wyndham Swimming Pool, linking existing sporting facilities and allowing for the management to be able to supervise the Recreation Centre and the Swimming Pool.
The day-to-day management of the facility will be the responsibility of the Recreation Services Team at the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley. In addition, a community based advisory committee will be formalised with the view to this committee taking on an advisory and review role.

The Kununurra Leisure Centre is a multi purpose community recreation facility catering for a wide range of sports, recreation activities and social functions.
Swimming Pool – arguably the most attractive outdoor swimming centre in Western Australian, it includes an eight lane lap pool linked by a water slide to the smaller children’s adventure pool which includes rainmakers, spas and slides. In addition two toddlers pools cater for the young ones.
The pools are set in an oasis of well kept lawns and gardens and are particularly attractive at night. The addition of state of the art shade means that the pool can be enjoyed in comfort 12 months of the year. The pool is also equipped with a disabled hoist.
Gymnasium – a fully equipped gymnasium caters for the fitness conscious. The gym is open from 6am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm on the weekends. Membership packages are available for the gym, pool and aerobics. A regular programme of circuit classes and aerobics, including Power Bar, sessions is available at the leisure centre.
Main Hall – with a fully sprung wooden floor, the main hall is an ideal venue for a wide range of sporting and leisure activities that take place at the Centre. The Hall has a stage area fully equipped with first class sound and lighting equipment enabling the presentation of concerts, stage shows and a variety of well know performers. The hall can cater for up to 600 people.
Squash Courts – there are three squash courts at the Centre. The local squash club is a popular sport and regular competitions are held.
